Chugging Along - Days 4 & 5

Today is my oldest baby's birthday. Ian, Mommy loves you so much and you're one of the reasons I'm doing this.

I officially took 4 days off as "rest" days after the accident. I was still a little stiff and sore but I had to keep going. Day 4 was just a repeat of the day 1 workout. I was really impressed with how quickly I am picking up on all the crazy moves. I am not a dancer in the least. TurboFire is a bunch of routines and the moves are super tricky. I am completely impressed with my improvement!

I also took my before pictures and OH MY GOSH, I am so disappointed in myself for letting it get this out of control. Everyone has to start somewhere so I just have to keep that image in my mind and remind myself every day (every minute, hour, etc.) that I control my impulses and I cannot let food keep me from my goals.

Day 5 was a new workout. The workout itself was close to an hour long but my husband stayed with me the entire time. For the first time since I started I was completely drenched in sweat and exhausted. It was such a great feeling when I had finished. Afterwards I spend the rest of the night making cupcakes for Ian's class and resisting the urge to eat 10 of them. I had 1/2 just to make sure they tasted right (wink, wink).

Today I'm off to a great start. I've had my breakfast of whole wheat toast with some natural peanut butter and coffee (of course). Coffee is a daily staple for me and I cannot wake up without it. Lunch will be Chocolate Shakeology with peanut butter and a banana. I haven't thought of dinner yet but it will definitely be something healthy.
