Where to begin? If you read my "About Me" you'll see that I'm a serial fad dieter and weight-loss program buyer and trier. It all ends now. I have realized that diet and exercise MUST go together to see any sort of long-lasting weight loss.
This blog is my way to be accountable to the world for my success or failure. Here I will post all things related (and may some unrelated things) to my exercise program including what day of the program I'm on, what I'm eating, and which exercises I did that day. Most importantly, I will post my results at the end of 30, 60 and 90 days for everyone to see.
A few months ago I purchased ChaLean Extreme and I love it! For those unfamiliar, it is a program that helps you burn fat by building up your muscles. I've made some great strides in the first phase of the program and I can now lift 7.5 lbs for upper body exercises and 17.5 lbs for lower body. I have not, however, lost any weight as of yet. That's where my frustration sets in. I know I'm building muscle and I feel great but when I step on the scale it's really discouraging to see zero weight loss.
After much research, I decided to purchase TurboFire today. It's another Chalene Johnson product like ChaLean Extreme. I really like her workouts because they're fun and motivational at the same time. TurboFire is more cardio intense so I would expect to see more weight loss.
So that's my story. I'm going to start using this blog as a public journal to record my personal journey to weight loss.
I was thinking about giving my starting stats, but I think I'll hold on to those for while until I feel a little more comfortable in my own skin.
I guess that's all I have until I actually get the program in the mail!
